Thomas feels most at home in the great outdoors – no matter the season, no matter the weather. Whether it’s ski touring, trail running, hiking, or mountain biking, the mountains are his happy place. He spends a lot of time exploring his local region, especially the Osterhorngruppe, where he loves to head out for a quick after-work tour with friends or family.
His motto: "It’s not about where you're going – it’s about who’s by your side." That sense of connection and community is something he lives by. Thomas is helpful, grounded, and always aware of those around him – a true outdoor enthusiast with heart.
POP EYES has become a constant companion for his adventures. Come snow, sunshine, or wind – he trusts his eyewear completely. For him, it's the perfect mix of quality, function, and style.
Some of his most memorable moments include completing an Ironman in under 10 hours (even if its a while ago) and climbing Austria’s highest peak, the Großglockner, on a ski tour. But in the end, it’s not about records – it’s about experiencing nature, finding peace, and living every day to the fullest.

I don’t really have one in particular.
Do you have a life motto or a quote that guides you?

What are your favorite sports?
Ski touring, trail running, hiking, mountain biking …
What has been your greatest sporting achievement or most memorable moment?
My biggest sporting achievement: Finishing an Ironman in under 10 hours (a few years ago 😅).
One of my most memorable moments: Ski touring and summiting Austria’s highest mountain, the Großglockner.
What does a typical day look like for you?
I usually wake up between 6:00 and 6:30 and head to work.
After about 8 hours, my day ends – and depending on the season, I like to fit in a sport session with family, friends, or sometimes just on my own.
Do you have a ritual or habit you couldn’t live without?
Not really.
Do you have a hidden talent or special skill?
Not that I know of! 😂
Which places or countries have shaped you most, and why?
There are so many beautiful places in the world – but I’m very connected to my home. There’s still so much to discover right here.
Do you have a favorite spot where you especially love being active?
Definitely the mountains – especially the Osterhorngruppe. It’s the perfect area for spontaneous after-work tours.
What’s a dream you still want to fulfill?
No specific dream – but it’s very important to me to show my boys how to set and reach their own goals. 😊
